How does it work?

What do I do when I find the right person?
Once you find the person for your specific needs, take a look through the services that they provide. Pick out the service that is right for you and add it to the cart.
What happens once I check out and purchase the service I need?
Upon purchase, an email will be sent to the requested professional. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing, at which time you will be contacted by someone from the team with day and time availability. Once a day and time is confirmed you will be charged.
How does pricing work if I’m not doing a consultation meeting, but rather a service request?
If you are not requiring a set meeting consultation time, but rather a specific service, then you will be charged, but the payment will be in a holding account until the service has been completed.
What happens if I’m not satisfied with my service?
If you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us and we will reach out to the professional that you were working with to remedy solution. We want to make sure that everyone is happy.
What do I do if I am interested in being an industry professional on the site?
If you’re interested in signing up as an industry professional, please contact us at info@thepicdocs.com. Someone from our team will reach out to you for further questions regarding the services you would like to provide and your resume information.
What are the requirements for being considered an industry professional
In order to qualify as an industry professional, you must have worked a minimum of 5 to 10 years in a major studio within the industry at a supervisory or above level.
If I pitch my idea to a consultant and they give feedback who owns the rights to the idea?
Before entering into any consultation, both parties must sign legal documents stating that the consultation is work for higher services. The idea being pitched or worked on will be completely owned by you. Please keep copies of your legal documentation, as The Pitch Docs will not be able to provide them back to you past the first 30 days.
What happens if my industry professional loves the idea and wants to develop it with me?
If this happens, the original legal documents provided by The Pitch Docs is not longer valid, a new legal template will need to be drafted by each of your own representation. This will supersede the work for hire consultation document that we provided. At this time you will discuss ownership rights together. If you decide to leave The Pitch Docs and develop a series together, all legal arbitration is now between you and your professional. The Pitch Docs is no longer responsible for any communication or services rendered at this time.
