Description

Jill Calhoun is an Emmy award winning ACE affiliate editor with almost two decades of experience editing animated, live action, and mixed media projects for Nickelodeon, HBO, Max, Disney, Apple, Netflix, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Gaumont, and Moonscoop. She most recently wrapped as a polishing lead editor on the YA paranormal thriller, Spooked! Prior to that she wrapped as lead editor on Paul McCartney’s animated musical, High In The Clouds. Her strengths are in versatility of genre, character development, pacing, and finding creative outside the box story solutions in order to build the best possible version of the story you want to tell. As part of a team, Jill helps nurture a collaborative environment ultimately inspiring the same crew to stick around for the whole project, take well to delegations, and meet deadlines on time. In addition to editing, Jill has been dancing ballet since she was a kid, loves music, plays the piano, is a friend to the animals, and is proficient in Spanish.
