Description
A veteran of MTV Animation, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim, Matt Schwartz has over 25 years of experience as a writer and producer in animation, video games, and brand creative. His first original shorts series, CALLING CAT-22, was created for Cartoon Network’s WEDGIES block. Later, Matt was the lead writer and mission designer for CARTOON NETWORK UNIVERSE: FUSIONFALL, the network’s much-beloved massively-multiplayer game, where he developed a storyline to support 50+ classic cartoon characters living in a single universe.
As a freelance writer and producer, Matt has worked with some of the biggest entertainment brands in the world, including DC Comics, Star Wars, LEGO, MAD Magazine, and many more. He is the co-creator of DOLLAR TOY SQUAD, a mixed-media animated project created for the “Ryan and Friends” channel from Pocket.Watch. He also wrote two seasons of the YouTube series BATMAN TOY ADVENTURES for DC Entertainment and Spin Master. In the world of video games, Matt is the co-creator of B.A.T.S.: BLOODSUCKER ANTI-TERROR SQUAD, a multi-platform original IP.
On television, Matt has extensive experience in brand creative and promotion, working with networks like TBS, TNT, MTV, and VH1. Matt won two Promax Gold awards for his work on CONAN in 2020 and 2021. His specialties include adult comedy, branded kids entertainment, and geek/gamer culture. Matt is a firm believer in the collaborative process and is ready to tackle all manner of creative challenges with you!
